BA in Cinema & Media Studies
Admission to the Film Cinema & Media Studies (BA) program is based on your academic performance.
Submit your application to the York University: School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design - Film Cinema & Media Studies (BA) program on the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) website. If you are not a current high school student, you may also be eligible to apply directly through the York University Office of Admissions. Current York students interested in transfering to the program should contact the department directly to apply.
Admission to studies-based programs in the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Designs is based on academic criteria. As a guide, the average required for admission to the BA in Film in recent years has been in the mid 70s (a B/B+ average) for high school students and C+/B for current university/college students.
Note: You can apply to more than one degree program in the Department of Film, however you must apply separately to each.
